Local sources in Paktia told Aamaj News that Taliban killed a former officer of interior ministry in this province.
According to the sources the incident took place in Dand-e-Patan district of Paktia, yesterday.
The sources added that the officer named Mumtaz and killed by Ibrahim, one of Taliban’s commanders in front of his house.
The killing of former officers by Taliban is not something new. They have tortured and killed hundreds of former officers after their domination. But they always emphasize on general amnesty decree and reject the reports regarding the summary killing of former officers.
