World Food Program Deputy Regional Director for Asia, Anthea Webb, said that 18 million people in Afghanistan are facing acute hunger.
She tweeted that in past five months they could provide assistance for 17.9 million people in need in Afghanistan.
Webb added that humanitarian situation and shortage of food are concerning in Afghanistan.
