Commander of the United States Central Command, General Kenneth F. McKenzie, said that ISIS increases the level of its attacks across Afghanistan in coming months.
Mr. McKenzie speaking at the US Senate Committee said that ISIS restarts its activities in Afghanistan in coming summer.
He reiterated that Taliban’s government will fail to fight against ISIS.
“The Taliban are attempting to maintain pressure. They’re finding it difficult to do,” he said.
According to this US top officials the ISIS terrorist activities will intensify in coming months.
In the meantime, the UN had warned of ISIS’s presence approximately in all provinces of Afghanistan.
But Taliban emphasize that ISIS has no center in Afghanistan, and it is not a series threat.
