The US special representative for Afghanistan, Thomas West, tweeted that the United States has offered $474 million in humanitarian assistance.
He also added along with humanitarian assistance they have offered one million additional COVID-19 vaccine doses through COVAX that overall became 4.3 million doses.
Mr. West emphasized that the US stands with the Afghan people.
While the US announces its assistance to Afghanistan, a number of Afghan people even do not have sufficient money to by food and other necessary things.
