UNICEF expresses concern regarding dire conditions of children in Afg

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has recently announced that the living conditions for children in Afghanistan is extremely worrying.

UNICEF tweeted that nearly 900,000 children in Afghanistan suffer from acute malnutrition.

This organization also added that the high level of hunger in Afghanistan has caused the greatest loss of children.

According to the United Nations Children’s Fund, Afghanistan has been in a humanitarian crisis for the past year, and therefore the country needs urgent aid.

UNICEF previously asked international community for $10 billion aid to address the situation of 110 million children in the world.

It should be mentioned that recently, the humanitarian organizations have warned many times about the expansion of the scope of poverty and hunger, especially in the upcoming winter in Afghanistan.
