United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) reacting to yesterday’s attack on “Al Jihad” Madrasa said that it has been “appalled” after learning about the attack.
The organization added that around 288 children either killed or wounded in Madrasas and learning settings in past six months.UNICEF reckons that the rate of casualties thought to be higher.”
UNICEF expresses its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and those injured,” the organization said.”
UNICEF urges all parties in Afghanistan to do everything they can to always keep children safe. Children need peace and protection to enjoy their childhoods, live to their full potential, and contribute to a prosperous Afghanistan.”
