UNICEF: Around 3.5 mln children suffer from acute malnutrition in Afghanistan this year

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), today in a series of tweets said that around 3.2 million children under five are expected to suffer from acute malnutrition this year

UNICEF added that this organization is increasing the number of nutrition counsellors, doubling the mobile health nutrition teams.

Following recent changes in Afghanistan, poverty and hunger have increased in this country, and the number of people in need are exceeding.

But Taliban’s spokesmen believe that Afghanistan is moving towards evolution, and unlike many calculations this country is not facing economic problems.
