UNAMA spelled out that it has verified that 43 people killed and 83 others wounded as a result of Friday’s attack on Kaaj education center.
It said the casualty figures may rise, and the main victims are young women and girls.
“Verification process continues by UNAMA human rights teams in Kabul,” the institution stated.
It is the second time that UNAMA informs of rise in casualty figures.
Friday’s attack on Kaaj education center was one of the deadliest attacks on education centers in west of Kabul.
