The Taliban efforts for possessing the Afghanistan seat at the United Nations have failed, and the organization has decided to postpone their entrance for the second time, Reuters reported.
But the decision could be reconsidered in the next nine months, according to a U.N. credentials committee report.
Incumbent Charge’d Affairs of Afghanistan, Nasser Ahmad Faiq, will be in charge of the position until its fate is clear.
Afghanistan, Myanmar and Libya’s seats have been postponed to be occupied without voting, according to Reuters’ report.
Taliban have introduced Suhail Shaheen as their nominated person to the UN, but the organization has refused to accept him.
