The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, also has participated at the meeting. He and his German counterpart announced that they will together struggle to tackle food crisis.

“Russia is waging a cynical grain war, using it as a tool to make food prices [skyrocket] and destabilize entire countries,” Baerbock said in remarks alongside Blinken before opening the summit.

G7 foreign ministers also releasing a statement showed their support of the UN efforts to unblock the ways of export of grains in Black Sea and the scheme of the EU to launch the grains at international market.

The statement also added that Russia is intensifying the food crisis around the world by sieging the ports and bombarding the reserves of grains.
