Deputy minister of foreign affairs, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, in a gathering in west part of Kabul said that now Afghansitan is an independent country, and the US forces fled the country using darkness of the night.
Stanikzai emphasized that they want to live in peace and harmony with other countries.
“I want the US once again not to interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan. No one should think that Afghans are tired of war and cannot defend themselves. If necessary, Afghans will need another forty years of resistance,” he said.
He said that uniting and connecting the people in Afghanistan and abroad are two challenges that they are facing now.
The news comes as earlier Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai in a meeting had said that the US willingly (Inshallah) will come back and open its embassy. In a separate event he had said that it is the duty of the US to boost the economy of Afghanistan.
