Following the publication of the “Sleep Tape” of Mullah Ahmad Akhund, the head of the Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) in Kabul with his bodyguard, sources told Aamaj News that the Taliban have allowed him to continue his work without any punishment.
In the published video tape of Mullah Ahmad Akhund, the head of the Taliban group assigned to Breshna Kabul Company, he is seen “sleeping” with his bodyguard, who is about 21 years old.
However, in the latest announcement published by DABS, it can be seen that Mullah Ahmad Akhund still holds the authority of this directorate and continues his work without any hindrance from the Taliban.
It should be mentioned that Mullah Akhund was appointed as the head of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat on August 20 of this year based on the order of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban. He spoke in his introduction ceremony that he will “do basic work” in Kabul’s Breshna department.
All this while reports of moral corruption and “Bacha bazi” of the Taliban group in their outposts and dormitories are available to the media every day, and the Taliban remain silent about punishing the officials and fighters.
Last year, the Taliban intelligence released a videotape of Abdullah, the brother of former passport chief Alam Gul Haqqani, which showed him “having fun” with several other Taliban members and several women in a room.
The person who recorded the video claimed that there were several men and women in the room and that the bar of wine and barbecue was ready. He then accuses the man, who confirmed was Alam Gull Haqqani’s brother, that “he used to come here, provided passports and take eight hundred dollars.”
