Some politicians as former vice president, Amrullah Saleh, have repeatedly claimed that Taliban’s supreme leader, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, is not alive, and some senior members of Taliban make decisions instead of him.

But a few days after Taliban’s domination, they claimed that Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada delivered a speech in a mosque in Kandahar province. A Pakistani news agency, Dawn, interviewed some students of a madrasa who claimed that Akhundzada delivered his speech, but when they were asked whether they had seen his face or not? They answered that they were so excited and cried happily so that they were not able to see his face.

After that Taliban appointed some people as officials, claiming that Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada has ordered so.

After passing five months of Taliban’s domination, on January 12, 2022 Bakhtar News Agency publishing a report claimed that supreme leader of Taliban went to Herat and met Taliban’s authorities there. Bakhtar added that he emphasized that Taliban should treat people in a nice way.

Today, deputy spokesman of Taliban, Inamullah Samangani, said that Hibatullah Akhundzada has gone to Helmand and met Taliban’s authorities, Ulema (religious scholars) and some elders.
