Saleh: “All private banks in Afghanistan are now insolvent and bankrupt”

Former vice president, Amrullah Saleh, tweeted that all private banks in Afghanistan are now insolvent and bankrupt.

Mr. Saleh reiterated that all private banks are bankrupt except AIB which may be used for transfer of humanitarian funds. And Taliban have silently taken the control of all private banks, and extorted all their properties.

Mr. Saleh added that all owners and CEOs of private banks have fled the country fearing of kidnapping and torture.

He said that Pakistan should inject cash to its proxy now, and sending seven trucks full of wheat is not the solution; adding that Pakistan cannot swallow Afghansitan.
