A number of residents of Kabul particularly in Khair Khāna PD 11 complain of shortage of electricity and water.

They told Aamaj News that it has been a month that they do not have electricity which has led to shortage of water as well.

They criticizing the situation added that lack of electricity has led to shortage of water, and if it continues, it will take the lives of people, too.

They also added that Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), is playing a double game in distribution of electricity in Kabul, especially in PD 11 and 12 that are predominantly Tajiks.

They say that they not have electricity while the temperature is 35 degree Celsius.

“We do not have electricity during the day, and in night we just have electricity for one to two hours. We don’t have water, because everything depends on electricity. If there is no electricity then there is no water,” one of the residents of Kabul said.

It is mentionable that spokesmen of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) refused to talk regarding this issue.
