Following the release of a video of a mass hostage taking of people by the Taliban in Panjshir, numerous people bitterly reacted to that one. Sources told Aamaj News that they are the civilians which have been taking hostage by the Taliban, and are still in their custody.
The sources added that the Taliban talking to the elders of Abdullah Khel village of Dara district said that they will release the civilians if the NRF forces return their weapons that they took last week in a conflict.
But the sources added the talks were not fruitful, because right now Haji Malik Dara posseses the weapons, and the elders have no authority over the ammunition.
The news comes as residents of Dara district believe that the Taliban measures as hostage taking, torture and killing of civilians are not in their benefit, additionally, the acts will increase the gap between them and the people.
