Former deputy speaker of the Afghan Senate, Mohammad Alam Izedyar, in an audio message which is widely shared on social media has narrated the way that Fahim Dashty and General Abdul Wadud Zara were killed by Taliban.
He said these two activists of National Resistance Front (NRF) were shot dead by Taliban fighters.
According to Izedyar the car which was carrying former spokesman of NRF, Fahim Dashty, and the NRF financial and administrative director, General Wadud Zara had not been attacked.
The car which was carrying Dashty and General Wadud Zara with their two bodyguards was stopped by Taliban fighters on the way of Dashtak-Tawakh, and they were buried in a mass grave after being shot dead by Taliban fighters on the side of the road.
“On the Dashtak-Tawakh way, the car which was carrying Fahim Dashty and his companions was confronted by Taliban fighters, their car was stopped, and they were shot dead on the side of the road,” Izedyar said.
Fahim Dashty was one of Afghansitan’s famous journalists, and after collapse of former government he played his role on formation of National Resistance Front led by Ahmad Massoud. He was spokesman of NRF until he was killed.
