Pakistani media outlets have reported that it is the second engagement with the US defense authorities since the appointment of Munir.

He visited the border area between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and talked about the opportunities for boosting relations between Pakistan military and centcom.

The news comes as after Taliban’s domination, the rate of terrorist attacks has increased unprecedentedly in Pakistan.

Earlier the US State Department had announced that the situation in Afghanistan has gravelly impacted Pakistan by the increase of terrorist attacks.
