The Pakistan Army has announced the tragic loss of two soldiers following a clash with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of the country.

According to a Reuters report, the incident occurred on Sunday night, November 12, in the Mir Ali region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the two soldiers lost their lives.

The Pakistan Army has stated that during this engagement, one “terrorist” was also killed. This incident comes amidst heightened security concerns in several regions of the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following the conclusion of a ceasefire agreement between the Pakistani Taliban and the government. Despite the initiation of military operations to cleanse certain areas, the process is reported to be progressing slowly, possibly influenced by the economic challenges faced by the country.
