People have the right to fight against Taliban’s aggression using any possible means, says Ex-Afghanistan envoy to UN

Mahmoud Saikal, former ambassador of Afghanistan to the United Nations, says that the people of Afghanistan have the right to defend their lives, property, thoughts, beliefs, culture and geography against the aggression and terror of the Taliban and “foreign terrorist groups” using any possible means.

Ambassador Saikal emphasized that no one should doubt the legitimacy of this struggle.

Mr. Saikal wrote on the X: “Self-defense in an intelligent way is an inherent and natural thing, which is mentioned in both divine verses and human laws, including Article 51 of the UN Charter and other resolutions of that organization, especially in the fight against oppression and extremism registered.”

The former ambassador of Afghanistan to the United Nations added that strengthening the defensive mentality and, in some cases, the offensive is the least deterrent to aggression, which should have the firm support of all Taliban opponents.

Mahmoud Saikal is one of the senior members of the National Resistance Front (NRF).

It should be noted that recently the attacks of (NRF) have increased in a number of provinces, especially in the capital, Kabul.
