Spokesman of National Resistance Front, Sibghatullah Ahmadi, in a series of tweets released a long list of NRF guerrilla fighters’ attacks on Taliban across the country.
According to Mr. Ahmadi in an ambush, NRF fighters could target Taliban fighters in “Salar-e- Shuhada hill” neighborhood of Panjshir, and as a result 8 fighters of Taliban killed and 14 others wounded. He adds that on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in a separate ambush, NRF fighters killed a fighter of Taliban and wounded the other one in Faraj area of Panjshir.
Mr. Ahmadi adds that in other ambush in Shabashk nieghborhood of Badghis province NRF fighters killed 6 Taliban fighters and wounded 11 others. 11 fighters of Taliban killed in Andrab in different attacks.
He also says that in Khost va Fereng district of Baghlan, NRF fighters killed 7 Taliban fighters and wounded 6 others. In a separate ambush in Kunduz province 6 fighters of Taliban killed.
He adds that on December 21, 2021 in Jozugun valley of Faizabad province NRF fighters killed 3 Taliban fighters.
Mr. Ahmadi also says that in past nine days 34 Taliban fighters killed and 52 others wounded in Samangan, Maidan Wardak, Kabul, Takhar, Ghor, Farah, Kapisa, Laghman, Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan, Sare-pul, Balkh, Parwan, Jawzijan, Faryab, Herat, and Ghazni.
Spokesman of NRF says that seven of NRF fighters killed in these attacks as well, but Taliban have suffered heavy casualties. He adds the attacks were carried out in calculated measures to avoid civilian casualties and financial losses to the public.
