National Resistance Front of Afghanistan [NRF] and Freedom Front of Afghanistan [FFA] have once again emphasized on continuation of armed conflict against the Taliban.
NRF stated that “unifying and mobilizing anti-Taliban forces” is its priority.
NRF led by Ahmad Massoud referring to the upcoming meeting of the UN said “lobbying for the Taliban is something useless and at odds with the interest of people in Afghanistan.”
Both NRF and FFA condemned the recognition of Taliban.
NRF believes that freedom comes back to Afghanistan via the resistance and sacrifice, not engagement with the Taliban.
FFA in its statement called the political talks with the Taliban as “useless”, emphasizing on armed conflict as the best way.
FFA said that it will cease its armed activities on the condition of a general disarmament, formation of an interim government and holding a democratic election.
