Local sources told Aamaj News that Taliban’s intelligence director in Panjshir, commander Malik, joined the National Resistance Front (NRF).
According to the sources, commander Malik just recently has joined the NRF with his men and all equipment.
Additionally, the Afghanistan Green Trend (AGT) led by former vice president, Amrullah Saleh, also confirmed that commander Malik has joined the NRF.
A Taliban source in Panjshir told Aamaj News that internal conflict with Malawi Qudratullah, governor of Panjshir, is the only reason that commander Malik joined the NRF.
Commander Malik raised the flag of Taliban in Panjshir as Taliban took power once again.
Taliban have not reacted yet.
