Pakistan’s prime minister office in a series of tweets announced that today prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, met minister of investments and foreign trade of Uzbekistan, Sardor Umurzakov.
According to office of Pakistan’s prime minister, both sides talked about the situation in Afghanistan and Imran Khan reiterated the urgent need to address the humanitarian and economic challenges in Afghanistan to alleviate human sufferings.
Imran Khan’s office added that he underlined the importance of security and stability in Afghanistan for advancing connectivity agenda leading to regional prosperity.
In this meeting Imran Khan also reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to the Trans-Afghan Railway project.
