Kabul water management project starts; “it provides work opportunities for 40 thousand people.” Taliban say

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid tweeted, “Kabul water management project started, and will resolve water shortage in Kabul.” He also said, “this project will provide work opportunities for 40 thousand people.”

Yesterday, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock Abdul Rahman Rashid, in opening of this project said that this ministry’s strategic reserve is 66 thousand tonne wheat.

Mayor of Kabul Hamdullah Nomani said that he will cooperate to provide work opportunities to decrease the level of unemployment and poverty in Kabul. The representative of Afghan ministry of energy and water said that unfinished building of dams and canals will finish soon.
