Japanese embassy in Afghanistan said that it is deeply disappointed over the decision taken by the Taliban on the exclusion of female students from university entrance examinations.
“We urge the Taliban to reconsider the decision and to provide equal educational opportunities to girls and women,” the embassy tweeted.
Recently the Taliban sending a letter to all private academic settings have urged them to refuse registering girls for upcoming college entrance exam.
They had closed the schools for girls above grade sixth, and deprived them of higher education.
