Political deputy of Taliban’s prime minister, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, yesterday met Japanese ambassador to Afghanistan, Takashi Okada.

“We are determined to reopen our embassy after ensuring security, and a common framework must be put in place for practical measurements,” Mr Okada said.

Deputy spokesperson of Taliban’s government, Inamullah Samangani, tweeted that Japanese ambassador in that meeting said this countrywill continue its assistance to Afghanistan people, and for trustbuilding, it increases the amount of its assistance in the first place.
