Associated Press reports that The US Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin, at Manama Dialogue which is held in Bahrain vowes to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and to counter its “dangerous use” of suicide drones in the wider Mideast.
Austin warns that the US will resort to other options, if Iran is not willing to engage seriously the nuclear issue through diplomacy.
“The United States remains committed to preventing Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon. And we remain committed to a diplomatic outcome of the nuclear issue,” Austin says.
Although the US and some other countries are opposed to Iran’s nuclear program, but Iran continues to expand its nuclear program.
