Ebrahim Raisi President of Iran in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), stated about Afghanistan that Iran emphasizes “inclusive government and the necessity of respecting the rights of all spectrums, ethnicities and religions of this country”.
Raisi also added that urgent international action is necessary to address the urgent crisis of Afghan refugees, especially in Iran.
Iran has repeatedly called for the establishment of an all-inclusive government with the presence of all Afghanistan tribes. However, the Taliban have not yielded to the world’s desire to establish a comprehensive government.
After more than two years of Taliban rule over Afghanistan, no country has yet recognized this group.
