Local sources in Herat told Aamaj News that two deadly explosions took place in Jibrail town in Tawhid 18 street, Herat. The incident happened this evening at about 6:00 p.m. in a playground in ‘Sang-Girak’ area among a crowd of people.
According to eyewitnesses one person killed and four others wounded that have been moved to the hospital.
Mohammad Aref Jalali, chief physician of Herat’s regional hospital, said that so far four wounded and one dead body have been brought to the hospital, and the casualties are increasing in number.
More details about the explosions are not available yet.
Jibrail town in Herat is the area that mainly Shiites live there, and before that ISIS-K had carried out attacks there.
