او افزود: «سرکوب زنان افغانستان در محراق توجه طالبان است.»
او در پیوند به تلاشی خانه‌به‌خانه‌ی طالبان گفت: «طالبان در حال تلاشی خانه‌به‌خانه در کابل اند و این ترس را در میان مردم گسترش می‌دهد.»
این اظهارات در حالی صورت می‌گیرد که طالبان از روز جمعه‌ی هفته‌ی جاری تلاشی خانه‌به‌خانه را در کابل و ولایت‌های کاپیسا، پروان و پنجشیر آغاز کرده‌اند. اما این‌کار طالبان واکنش‌های تُند داخلی و خارجی را به‌هم‌راه داشته است.
