اقارب عزیزالرحمن غفاری، عضو سابق نیروهای ویژه‌ی پولیس به آماج می‌گویند که طالبان او را بدون دلیل از خانه‌اش در شهر فیض‌آباد، مرکز ولایت بدخشان بازداشت و به‌جای نامعلوم منتقل کرده‌اند.
مسوولان محلی طالبان در ولایت بدخشان در این مورد چیزی نمی‌گویند.
خبر بازداشت نیروهای حکومتی پیشین از سوی طالبان در حالی همه‌گانی می‌شود که ملا هبت‌الله رهبر این گروه امروز در پیام عیدی‌اش به عملی شدن آن‌چه فرمان «عفو عمومی» می‌خوانند، تأکید کرده است.
