محمد ادیب، پسر این مرد، در برگه‌‌ی فیس‌بوکش چنین نوشته است: «آخ پدر، یتیم شدم. رنجر طالبان پدرم را به شهادت رساند.»
این روی‌داد در سرک ۴۰ متره دشت‌برچی رخ داده است.
تاکنون مسوولان امنیتی طالبان در کابل در مورد این واقعه چیزی نگفته‌اند.
این در حالی‌ست که شهروندان کشور از بی‌احتیاطی، تیزرفتاری و بی‌توجهی نظامیان طالب در میان مردم شاکی اند.
