جبهه‌ی آزادی افغانستان می‌گوید که مسؤولیت انفجارهای امروز در غرب کابل به دوش طالبان است.
در اعلامیه‌ای این جبهه آمده است که حمله بر افراد ملکی در زمره‌ی تاکتیک‌های اصلی جنگی طالبان، داعش و سایر گروه‌های هراس‌افگن قرار دارد.
در اعلامیه ذکر شده است: «همان طوری که در بیست سال اخیر، جنگ نامشروع طالبان زمینه‌ی بدبختی مردم ما را فراهم کرد، در شرایط کنونی نیز، مسؤولیت چنین حمله‌های در گام نخست بر عهده طالبان است.»
جبهه‌ی آزادی افغانستان تأکید کره است که انتقام خون‌های ریخته‌شده‌ی مردم را از طالبان و سایر گروه‌های تروریستی خواهند گرفت.
این در حالی‌ست که پیش از چاشت امروز در نتیجه‌‌ی سه انفجار در غرب کابل حدود ۱۰۰ نفر کشته و زخمی شده‌اند.
