More than 2,000 people dead in Morocco earthquake

The Ministry of Interior of Morocco has announced that the number of people who died in the Friday night earthquake in this country has increased to 2,012 people and another 2,059 were injured.

According to the ministry, the condition of 1,14 people injured by the earthquake is critical.

This earthquake is said to be the deadliest earthquake in Morocco since 1960.

This earthquake occurred around 11:00 Friday night local time, 70 kilometers southwest of the center of Morocco, and also shook six other cities in the country. The U.S. Geological Survey announced that the magnitude of this earthquake was 6.8 degrees and it occurred at a depth of 18.5 kilometers.
