Head of passport department, Alam Gul Haqqani says that foreigners had broken biometric machines in interior ministry, before they left Afghanistan.
He says that there are technical problems in passport department in Kabul which are not resolved yet, although emphasizes that the passport issuing process is starting in Kapisa, Parwan, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Daykundi, Faryab, Nuristan, and Badakhshan tomorrow.
Haqqani also says that issuing process of passport will start in Kabul and other remaining provinces very soon.
