Biden and Lapid to sign a joint pledge on denying nuclear weapon to Iran

A senior US official told reporters in a conference call, that the U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid on Thursday will sign a joint agreement pledging to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon on the second day of Biden’s Middle East trip.

“This declaration is pretty significant, and it includes a commitment to never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon and to address Iran’s destabilizing activities, particularly threats to Israel,” the official said.

Further details regarding the agreement have not been published yet.

Biden is going to visit Palestinian land after his meeting with Lapid, and after that he will head to Riyadh.
