Taliban use a former commander’s house as their military station in Baghlan

Local sources in Baghlan told Aamaj News that the Taliban are using the house of a former commander named Muniar Beyg, as their military station.

The sources said that a month ago the Taliban forcibly displaced the family of this former commander, and turned his house into their military station. According to the sources more than 40 Taliban forces are stationed at the house and have taken all property of the house.

The sources said that the commander has an apple garden, but Taliban do not allow his family to use it, and even beaten his son when he wanted to enter the garden.

They added that a commander of Taliban from Dand Ghori with his fighters send the apples to their families every day.

The family of the commander told Aamaj News that they are living in a bad economic situation.

They added that commander Muniar Beyg was killed fighting against the Taliban.

They said that the relatives of the commander has shared their concern with district governor of Deh Salah district, but he has said that he could not do anything. Taliban do not say anything regarding this issue.

Before that the Taliban had turned lots of houses, health centers and other places to their military posts in Panjshir.
